Even though I was unhappy with how the glazing turned out, I realised that I had not yet tested with the feedback I received from the WIP - which was to distribute the cats. As I did not want to follow the suggestion of sending the cats back to the owners, I came up with the idea of photographing the cats in spaces they would always hang out. The tuxedo cat was actually based on one of the submissions I received - a cat named Henry. His owner said how she would always find Henry in the garden. As I was going back to my home town for a week I decided to use this opportunity to take photos as in my town there is this popular scenic spot called the Abbey Gardens and I thought that this was appropriate for Henry.
I also found that I have to be careful when travelling with the ceramic cats or else I could damage them.
