• took out most of the zinnias from the raised beds
  • cut one of the last buckets of flowers :')
  • planted scabiosa caucasica and a few honesty seedlings to one of the raised beds
  • my mum planted the last feverfew
  • got a bouquet of dill from my aunt <3
  • decided on the seeds for autumn sowings
  • slowly starting to clear space in the raised beds for autumn sowing and seedlings of biannuals and perennials
  • went on a walk to cut dog rose branches
  • planted eryngium, ivy and rose 'magical autumn's glory' with my mum
  • made autumnal bouquets
  • there're still some flowers for cutting, but everything starts to visibily slow down
  • some dahlias maybe won't make it to blooms this year
  • replanted feverfew to its permanent spot
  • also planted malva moschata, which i brought with me from a flower farm visit, together with rose 'magical autumn's glory' which has cutest little fruits, and pink variant of gypsophila paniculata (baby's breath)
  • contemplating places for planting lunaria and eryngium
  • will probably make a 'nursery' out of (at least) one of the raised beds, they are still filled with fresh looking zinnias though
  • autumn sowing will include: geums and musk mallows (seeds gathered by me), nigellas and maybe cornflowers
  • also harvested another two leeks :') one of those still in the ground is going to bloom!
  • made a colourful bouquet for my grandma <3
